The village hall was refurbished in the summer of
2008 thanks to Section 106 money received from a local building
project via the Parish Council. Work included lowering the ceiling,
sanding and re-sealing the floor, decorating, new toilets, a new
spacious kitchen and bar area, a refurbished stage and the creation
of a manager’s office. The kitchen is very spacious with lots of work surface, a large cooker, warming cupboard, hot water boiler, fridge and freezer space and a dishwasher. There is also a full supply of crockery and cutlery. It is possible to hire the kitchen separately for cookery classes etc. During the refurbishment, the stage area had new curtains and lighting bars. There is also a full PA system which can be used on request. For plays, shows etc, maximum seating capacity is 170 |
